Zimbabwe Outclassed By Tigers…..

Spirited Zimbabweans  faced wounded tigers in 2nd ODI in Mirpur. After winning the first ODI Zimbabwe was really on high and Shakib’s eleven desperately wanted to level up the series.


Bangladesh won the toss and invited Zimbabwe to bat first. Things started well for Bangladesh as they continue picking up crucial wickets at right time.  Though CR Ervine showed some resistance but he was left all alone when Shakib and Abdur Razzak cleaned by the tail very quickly. They lost their last four wickets for only 2 runs.

Star performer was Abdur Razzak who picked by 5 wickets including a brilliant hat-trick.

While chasing the modest total of 192 Bengali batsmen responded well and never allowed Zimbabwean to take control. J Saddique and R hassan scored fifties and Bangladesh reached the required target very easily with six wickets in hand and more than 10 overs to spear.

Without any doubts Abdur Razzak was awarded man of the match for his brilliant five for.

Next match will be played on 6th december at Dhaka.
