England started the day with Bell and Anderson on crease and needing 309 more runs to win the test and retain the Ashes. On the other hand, England needed only 5 wickets to level up the series. It took only 10 overs for bowlers to take 5 remaining wickets of English batsmen.

Things started with Anderson wicket in 3rd over, then Bell, Prior, Swann and Finn also lost their wickets mainly to Harris, who finished with six wickets. He took 6 wickets conceding only 47 runs. Johnson also took 3 wickets to finish with 9 wickets in a match.

Man Of The Match: For his all-round performance Mitchell Johnson was awarded richly, deserved man of the match.

Ricky Ponting who had broken his finger yesterday is also hoping to be fit for Boxing day test.

So, the bottom line is that both teams will be facing in boxing day test at Melbourne with every thing on stake.
