Pride Is On The Line…

Although, Australia has taken an unaccessible lead in 7 match ODI series against England by beating them in 4 out of 5 matches.

After retaining the Ashes much more was expected from the English team but unfortunately so far it is only one way traffic apart from the 4th ODI where England, thanks to Trott’s heroics, defeated Australia by 21 runs.

The 6th ODI of the series will be played at Sydney on 2th, February. England will surely try to have  a consolation win while Aussies will be looking to keep their momentum going before the all important “World Cup”.

Right now, both teams are struggling from injuries, for Australia centurion of 2nd ODI, Shaun Marsh, is added to ever increasing injury list with hamstring injury, while Shahzad is also down and out for similar reasons. So, some changes are expected in both teams.

Fans might have lost their interest in the series due to obvious reason, as the series is already decided, but without any doubt it is an important game for both the teams as England are playing for their pride while Kangaroos are trying to find the right combination for the World Cup.
