supposed to be batting first track.

Their start was disappointing losing their first wicket in very first over and they had lost both their openers within 3 overs. They never recovered from that disaster.

They were 71-3 in 18 overs, when pitch started to spin miles. Yuvraj, Ashwin and Pathan all started to get spin and bounce creating lots of trouble for Kiwi batsmen. After hard struggle, no one was able to respond to the challenge placed by Indian spinners and Kiwis were dismissed within 27 overs for just 103 runs.

India in reply, faced real early problems after losing two quick and important wickets of Ghambir and Kohli for just 10 runs. Pitch was still playing its part, and even new ball was spinning quite a lot.

P Patel had his luck early in the innings when he survived couple of close LBW calls. On the other hand, Yuvraj started edgy but grew in confidence in later part of his innings.

Both he and Patel, finished the chase in 22nd over wrapping up the series 5-0 Yuvraj scored unbeaten 42 and P Patel scored another half century.

Man Of The Match: Yuvraj was named man of the match for his beautiful all round performance.

Man Of The Series: Indian standing captain Ghambir was awarded man of the series.

Flop Of The Day: Without any doubts it was umpiring again which has not improved at all.
